The proposal of the law amending the Act on conflict of interest, which due to the veto of the president returned to the Lower Chamber of the Parliament, does not catch by a voluntary affidavit not to enrich oneself unduly in the public office those areas which the asset declaration does not cover. The current Act does not provide for a sanction for the violation of the prohibition of the misuse of the public function for the purpose of personal enrichment.
